Palomar Pizza

Vista, CA 92081

I was referred to Palomar
Pizza from a friend that mentioned she participated in a fundraiser
with them. I like local family operated places, so I keep giving
them my business because they have a huge menu, my whole family is
happy and the deliver everything on the menu! My Fav: Philly Cheese
Steak Sub and Spinach cheese raviolis with creamy tomato sauce.

Everything I've ever order
from this pizza place is absolutely delicious. But today I ordered a
calzone with sausage and peppers and it was so good. The portion was
huge and so good that I ate the whole thing. I have a way of knowing
good food, everywhere I go in the work place I have people checkout
different places that I refer and I have never heard anyone say
different than the obvious. I tell you check them out they have food
that will bring you back for more. When I mention the atomosphere is
good it is only because they don't have a live band or anything like
that.

PB Sushi
1203 Garnet Ave.
San Diego, CA 92109
(858) 274-9755
Coming from a very picky sushi eater, I would rank PB
Sushi as San Diego's #1 sushi restaurant in terms of quality and
value. PB Sushi outperforms Sushi Ota in offering nigiri and sashimi
eaters a fresher selection that would please even exotic palates, at
a value price. In fact, I highly recommend the sashimi, because it
is so perfectly cut and so fresh that it almost literally melts in
your mouth. My favorites are the sake (salmon), uni (sea urchin),
toro (blue fin tuna belly), aji (Spanish mackarel), monk fish liver,
ama ebi (tail served raw/head is tempura fried), and the Havana
Pearl roll, which is a combination of fresh cuts surrounded by
cucumber and topped with black caviar. The sushi chefs are very
friendly and personable, and they work very hard to keep regulars
enticed with creative new dishes. Often, they are commended by
adoring customers who wish to share a saki shot or a beer with them.
The ambiance was quaint, very clean, and they have plasma and
projection TV's for additional entertainment. The service was
expedient, and my party was greeted personally by the owner. PB
Sushi also offers an excellent selection of moderate to fine Saki
(rice wine), sushi rolls, appetizers, and cooked entrées. PB Sushi
is also conveniently located near San Diego's finest night spots,
and there is a nearby parking lot charging a mere $3 for the whole
evening. If you have never tried to explore what sushi really has to
offer, I would recommend this as an excellent place to free your
taste buds, because over the past 30 visits I have not ever come
across a single order that had even the faintest hint of fish odor.
[By the way, fishy odor is a bad thing - it means that it is not
high grade or it is not fresh.] Happy Eating!!!
